Hello! I’m Liz

I’m a wedding officiant, world traveler and writer, writing and telling stories about love, life and travel.

I started writing stories when I was a young child and began my first wedding business, Liz Rae Weddings, at age 21. Since then, I’ve officiated over 300 weddings in 4 different countries on 2 different continents. I’ve mastered the art of storytelling through engaging audiences through compelling stories. I also write for various online platforms including Mogul and Thought Catalog. When I’m not writing online, I’m a ghost copywriter for a technology firm, a health marketing company, and a flooring company, and I host the YouTube series, “Nomadic Stories,” all while traveling around the globe.

It’s time to take your creativity to the next level. Or find that creative spot.

We get it. You’ve traveled around the world or maybe even just your own city. You have tons of amazing adventures you’d love to share with your family and friends, but every time you try to sit down at the computer to write about those moments, total brain freeze occurs. You have no idea what to share, how to say it, or even if you should be writing it at all. Maybe writing isn’t your thing, so you give up.

Or maybe you are the BEST at telling stories. Your friends look forward to hanging out with you because they know you’ll have something amazing to say. You’ve thought about taking a course, but you feel out of place in a group full of well-trained creatives. You’ve dabbled in photography and painting and other art forms, but you’re not the best and give up on that too.

Sigh.

What if we made storytelling fun?

We are born storytellers. As children, we live through storytelling, dreaming up tales with our toys. But there’s a difference between a great storyteller and a phenomenal one. It takes dedication and practice to learn the art of sharing fascinating stories. What if learning storytelling could be fun, engaging and surrounded with a community of like-minded learners?
